  • Hourly Pay Rate : $17.50 - $18.65 plus $1.75 hourly shift differential
  • Hours : Sunday - Thursday 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

    • Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Operate the packaging system monitoring overall performance efficiency and quality.
  • Perform equipment start-up shut-down and preventive maintenance.
  • Sample and monitor product quality coming off the system making modifications as needed.
  • Troubleshoot packaging system performance and quality problems correcting them and stabilizing performance as they occur.
  • Replenish materials ongoing as materials are depleted.
  • Maintains production efficiency and quality records related to the packaging system operation.
  • Completes the production process for printed material by operating bindery / packaging equipment.
  • Supports the manufacture of personal products through a continuous production operation requiring an understanding of work methods and procedures as well as various binding machines.
  • Work is typically routine although some discretion may be allowed. Applies limited knowledge and expertise applicable to specialty for the implementation of predominantly short-term tasks and projects for business needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.  This job description describes one skill (or part of a skill) within a multi-skilled production team member job.

    • Decision Making :   Mechanical troubleshooting production / priority decisions relating to maintenance and quality

    Qualifications :

    Experience / Skills / Abilities Required :

    Minimum 0 - 3 years previous machine operating or production experience in a team environment preferred.

    Average to above average mechanical ability helpful.

    Physical Requirements / Working Conditions :  Manufacturing Environment - walking standing bending twisting grasping reaching above and below shoulder lifting up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on occasion. Must wear hearing protection on the production floor.
