Job Title Applications Specialist-Sharepoint Job Description The Application Specialist will be responsible for technical oversight of global SharePoint development efforts. This role will provide technical direction to a team of developers, along with assisting in setting and upholding standards. Familiarity with the EPCI business model is a benefit. The role requires providing some production support as well as participation in the implementation of new functionalities. As such, this position requires strong technical, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated teamwork and organizational capabilities. Job Requirements Experience: Minimum 5 + years of SharePoint experience, including SharePoint 2013 as well as 2010/2007. Strong experience with SharePoint tools and technologies, including for example: SharePoint APIs / Object Model SharePoint 2013 App Model SharePoint Structure & OOTB Capabilities Sitrion/NewsGator Social Tools Nintex Workflow Custom Branding Mobile Delivery MS SSAS/SSRS, Tabular Models, Power View, Excel Services in SharePoint Software development experience with, for example, Microsoft C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, TFS/Source Control/Build Automation, SQL Server, InfoPath, etc. Experience in developing SharePoint architecture, governance, and best practices guidance Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Qualifications: Ability to lead the internal SharePoint architectural /development practice Ability to satisfy business requirements with SharePoint solutions Ability to support SharePoint platform & applications in a global organization.
