Accounting Compliance Analyst

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Management and oversight of daily, month end / quarter end / year end closing procedures across General Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Treasury and Service Revenue Billing team; including facilitating review meetings and analytics, ensuring results are accurate and timely
• Support the creation, review and update of supporting SOX narratives and coordinate the SOX testing program.
• Support execution of internal control procedures across the Accounting team, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX
• Participate in internal and external audits as they arise (preparation and facilitation as required)
• Foster the development and implementation of new procedures and controls to enhance the workflow of the department and accuracy of financial results
• Support completion of tax returns and any subsequent tax assessments
• Actively participate in the process improvement initiatives within the Accounting / Finance department
• Performs related duties as assigned including inquiries regarding financial results and reporting
