Titan Florida has an immediate opening for a skilled and motivated professional Accountant located at its corporate office in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This salaried exempt position reports to the Director of Accounting. The primary function of this position is full charge accounting for the Florida Concrete Products Division.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with the monthly close process, including journal entry, account reconciliation, and variance analysis
· Produce and review the monthly financial statements
· Analysis, reconciliation and monitoring of balance sheet accounts
· Develop practices and procedures in line with the strategic direction of the division
· Prepare monthly income variance, performance measures and balance sheet financial reporting
· Assist with monthly forecast
· Prepare quarterly and year end reporting as required and assist external auditors on related business inquiries/requests
· Assist in all phases of the mid-year and year end audit process, including tax requests
· Assist with yearly budgeting process
Qualifications and Experience:
· Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience preferred, but not required
· Microsoft Office products proficiency; Excel, required, Hyperion, and SAP knowledge a plus
· Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), required
· Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) basis, a plus
· Ability to work under time constraints with a large and diverse group of internal customers
