Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Santa Ana, CA

A healthcare facility in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience for a contract opportunity. This role focuses on delivering safe, effective patient care by applying the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will manage direct patient care in the Telemetry Unit, monitor cardiac status, and communicate any changes in clinical condition to physicians promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care within the scope of practice on the Telemetry Unit
• Monitor patients using cardiac telemetry equipment and interpret results
• Communicate critical changes or concerns to providers in a timely manner
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to maintain high standards of care
• Quickly respond and adapt to changes in patient status or treatment response

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, valid RN license in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Experience with ventilator management preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster shots preferred
