[job_card.job_description]Possess and maintain a valid Class B driver’s license. Must be registered with the Clearinghouse. Pass a background check, drug screen, and driving history check. CDL medical card (medical examiner’s certificate (MEC)) preferred, but not required. Be able to work variable hours which may include overtime. Excellent communication / interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Keen attention to detail. Good work attendance is a must. Ability to work safely in a team environment. High School diploma or GED Ability to sit and drive for long durations. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions. Ability to walk on uneven surfaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Department : Ace Ready Mix
Reports to : General Manager
Job Summary :
You will be driving a Ready Mix truck. Our in-house Training Program will help you earn your Class B Commercial Driver’s License. Learn the skills for a job that will always be in-demand. No over-the-road travel. Home every night. Good pay and benefits.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Does not have any direct reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Complete training program and assignments provided by the company.
- Drive and operate Ace Ready Mix trucks.
- Follow GPS instructions and road maps.
- Pre-inspect truck.
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
