Position Overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the consistent production of high-quality fire protection products that meet internal standards customer requirements and regulatory expectations. This role works closely with Operations Engineering Maintenance and Materials teams to proactively improve product quality reduce scrap and rework and enhance process reliability. Given the life-safety nature of fire protection products this position plays a critical role in defect prevention and continuous improvement across the facility.

Primary Responsibilities

Safety :

Understand and abide by all Company safety rules regulations and policies.

Attend all assigned safety meetings toolbox talks and safety training sessions.

As required promptly investigate accidents and near misses completing appropriate reports and taking action to eliminate root causes.

Product & Process Quality :

• Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to ensure products meet quality safety and performance requirements.
• Investigate nonconformances lead root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support new product introductions and process changes to ensure quality requirements are built in from the outset.

This is a manufacturing floorbased role requiring frequent walking standing lifting and hands-on interaction with equipment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams is essential.
