Job Title : Senior Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join one of our top clients in the area - a highly respected commercial General Contractor. The Senior Project Engineer will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and trade partners, the Senior Project Engineer helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with advanced day-to-day project coordination, documentation, and reporting
• Review and manage drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs to ensure full compliance with project requirements
• Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and material procurement throughout all project phases
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and progress reports
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to proactively resolve field and constructability issues
• Support cost control efforts by reviewing invoices, tracking budgets, and assisting with forecasting
• Uphold safety, quality, and efficiency standards on-site at all times
• Participate in owner, architect, and consultant meetings, representing the project team professionally
• Mentor and support junior Project Engineers as needed
