Junior Estimator Junior Estimator
Position Overview
The Junior Estimator will assist in the preparation of cost estimates for HVAC projects, contributing to bid proposals and material take-offs. This role is essential in supporting the estimating team to ensure accurate and timely bids that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals for HVAC projects
- Conduct material take-offs to determine project requirements
- Source materials and suppliers for bids
- Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers to gather necessary information
- Review project specifications and drawings to ensure all aspects are covered in estimates
- Maintain organized records of bids and project documents
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field1-2 years of experience in estimating or bid coordination, preferably in HVAC projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating softwareStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentBenefits
