Controller

A company is looking for a Controller to lead and scale its finance function across U.S. and Canadian entities.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

Manage cash flow forecasting and compliance with tax requirements across jurisdictions

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior finance role

Direct experience managing full-cycle accounting for multiple countries, specifically the U.S. and Canada

Proven ability to balance tactical execution with strategic oversight

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with Canadian GAAP / IFRS

Exceptional leadership skills and experience in a high-pressure environment
