Laboratory Associate

We are seeking a Laboratory Associate - Metrology to join IQVIA’s laboratory business in Indianapolis, IN.

As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine testing procedures to obtain data for use in clinical trials research.

What You’ll be Doing :

• Installation and qualification of new equipment and instrumentation according to standard operating procedures.
• Performing preventative maintenance on instruments and coordinating necessary maintenance with external vendors.
• Maintaining life cycle documentation of equipment and instrumentation in accordance with applicable SOPs.
• Calibration and verification of validated instrumentation according to SOP requirements.
• Troubleshooting equipment and instrumentation and identifying new equipment needs.
• Repairing disabled analytical instruments and laboratory equipment.
• Creating and maintaining SOPs for instrumentation / metrology.
• Monitoring and responding to equipment monitoring systems, such as environmental, temperature or generator alerts.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, supporting six sigma, quality, and safety initiatives.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $34,700.00 - $72,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and / or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and / or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and / or other benefits.
