Job SummaryWe are seeking experienced caregivers with dementia care experience who are compassionate, dependable, and confident in providing handson support. This role is ideal for caregivers who enjoy forming meaningful connections and supporting clients with both daily care needs and safety supervision. Weekend and overnight availability are a plus.
Responsibilities- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support clients with dementia using patience, redirection, and safety awareness
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Provide safety supervision and monitor changes in condition
- Follow care plans and communicate any concerns with office staff
Requirements- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related role
- Dementia care experience preferred
- Weekend availability preferred
- Reliable, dependable, and professional
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Smartphone required for scheduling and communication
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- COVID19 vaccination preferred
- Compassionate and patientfocused approach to care
- Must be at least 18 years of age
