[job_card.job_description]Respond to overnight maintenance requests, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and basic electrical issues. Conduct preventative maintenance rounds and inspections in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Address minor carpentry, tile, and hardware repairs to preserve the property's five-star condition. Monitor and maintain tools, supplies, and equipment inventories. Support setup and breakdown of furniture, seasonal décor, or special hotel installations. Communicate with front desk and management to ensure all guest-impacting repairs are handled discreetly and promptly. Document completed work and pending issues using hotel maintenance software or logs. Follow all hotel safety, security, and cleanliness procedures, including proper use of PPE and signage. Ensure minimal noise and disruption during the overnight shift to uphold a serene guest environment. Experience working in commercial or institutional settings (hotels, hospitals, schools, etc.) High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in painting and general maintenance roles. Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials. Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently during overnight hours. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. Key Responsibilities :
Painting & Aesthetic Maintenance :
- Perform high-quality interior and exterior painting with a focus on detail and finish.
- Prepare and restore surfaces (walls, trim, wood, drywall, etc.) to maintain the hotel's elegant appearance.
- Touch up guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and amenity spaces as needed to preserve luxury finishes.
- Match and mix custom paint colors to blend seamlessly with hotel décor.
- Ensure all work areas are protected and cleaned thoroughly post-project.
