Commercial Lines Producer - Account Executive

Job Summary
Commercial Lines Account Executives develop and maintain long‑term B2B relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide innovative coverage solutions across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new business revenue from qualified prospects and existing clients via telephone, email, meetings and lead generation techniques.
- Conduct client appointments to assess insurance needs, present proposals and renewals, and provide coverage options.
- Submit, rate, quote, and place quality new business in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Assemble and submit accurate insurance applications and underwriting information.
- Negotiate coverage and pricing terms with the company’s marketing and service teams.
- Develop formal proposals detailing coverages, limits, deductibles and other pertinent information.
- Assist in cross‑selling qualified business through a referral network.
- Build and promote strong relationships with prospects and clients.
- Achieve pre‑determined sales goals.
- Communicate effectively with customers, agency and company personnel.
- Adhere to agency workflows, procedures and AMS360 / CRM usage.
- Maintain pipeline, activity and sales reports; attend meetings as required.
- Stay informed of industry developments through community involvement and continuing education.
- Comply with all state insurance regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties and projects assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Extensive knowledge of commercial insurance products and policies.Ability to determine the best insurance policy for individual clients.Excellent interpersonal, sales, written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Required
Active property and casualty license.3–5+ years of successful and documented insurance sales experience.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suite.Ability to travel (60% daytime, routine / periodic travel as needed).Valid U.S. driver’s license and minimum state‑required vehicle insurance.Benefits
