Automation Personnel Services is looking for General Labor for a company based in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing, woman-owned manufacturer of pipe manufacturing and fabrication company.

Pay Rate $12.00 / $16.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours Monday through Saturday, 7 : 00am to 7pm

40+ hours a week, sometimes over 60 hours per week.

General Labor Duties and Responsibilities

• Provided support across designated operational areas, ensuring continuous workflow and responsiveness to team needs
• Maintained optimal inventory levels of raw materials, proactively restocking to avoid production delays
• Conducted regular inspections of machinery to identify and report performance issues or maintenance needs
• Accurately identified pipe specifications and material requirements to meet project standards
• Sustained a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation in compliance with safety regulations

General Labor Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training via vocational school or trade apprenticeship is a plus

13 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

State licensure for hazardous materials handling and / or union certification preferred, though not mandatory

Must be at least 18 years old

Physically capable of standing, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 40 lbs regularly

Comfortable with working at heights, including climbing tall ladders and operating on elevated platforms

Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a consistently positive attitude

Effective in both independent tasks and collaborative team environments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels

Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is an advantage

Committed to completing tasks promptly and with attention to detail

Maintains proper care of tools and equipment, including cleaning and secure storage
