[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious behavior. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific requirements. Assist with access control procedures for staff, visitors, and patients, following all site-specific guidelines. Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and / or security-related issues. Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Experience with customer service is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
