A company is looking for an Actuary, Model Risk.
Key Responsibilities
Lead independent model validations for various business models
Assess model fit, functionality, and provide challenges on model reliability and limitations
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance model risk management practices across the enterprise
Required Qualifications and Education
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline
Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) preferred or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
5-7+ years of relevant experience in the Life, Annuity, or LTC insurance industries
3+ years of experience in developing actuarial models
Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS
