Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse – Flight Medicine

Location : Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) – Lackland & Randolph

Position Overview

CentralCare Incorporated is seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) to provide full-time Flight Medicine services at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) . This is an excellent opportunity to support our military community and their families as a federal civilian contractor.

Position Details

Pay : $25.00 / hour + $4.41 / hour additional for health and wellness
Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Sick Leave
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 0700–1600
Contract Length : 1 Year Preferred (Opportunity to Extend)

Responsibilities

Deliver care to diverse patient populations in a Flight Medicine setting.

Complete patient care based on condition, using sound judgment to select appropriate procedures and treatments.

Accurately recognize, report, and document relevant patient information.

Administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and / or intravenous) and perform treatments per established protocols.

Observe, identify, and respond to patient needs, including medication, equipment-assisted care, and patient / family education.

Recognize urgent or emergent situations, seek assistance from RN and / or MD / DO, and initiate emergency interventions as directed.

Qualifications

Education : Certificate; Graduate from an accredited nursing program approved by the State Board.

License : Active, unrestricted LVN / PN license.

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS required for Cardiology LVNs.

Experience : Flight Medicine experience within the last three years.
