AVID Tutor (Part-time)

JOB TITLE : AVID Tutor (Part-time) 2025-2026

REPORTS TO : AVID Teacher and AVIS District Coordinator

WAGE STATUS : Temporary, non-exempt

College Station ISD is looking for energetic, committed college / university students to be tutors in our

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) classes. These classes provide academic instruction and

tutorial support to students and prepares them for eligibility for four-year colleges and universities.

Tutors are needed on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the following campuses and scheduled for a minimum of 2

hours and up to 8 hours between 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm based on your availability and our need.

• A&M Consolidated High School (grades 9-12)
• College Station High School (grades 9-12)
• A&M Consolidated Middle School (grades 7-8)
• College Station Middle School (grades 7-8)
• Wellborn Middle School (grades 7-8)

Pay : $12.00 per hour and up to $15.00 per hour with two years of AVID Tutoring experience.

A Criminal History Check is required upon completed upon submission
