Mechanical Engineer

Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Mechanical Engineering with Central Utility Plant design experience to their Milwaukee team!

Responsibilities:

• HVAC engineering design (calculate heating/coolingloads, select equipment, layout duct and piping, create/edit project details, write/edit project engineering specifications)
  
• Manage clients and coordinate teams
  
• Participate in design review meetings and workshops
  
• Resolve complex issues
  
• Provide design options to project team and document findings
  
• Make sure drawing/designs are in accordance with local codes and design standards
  
• Coordinate with other disciplines as needed (architectural/engineering)
  

Requirements:

• degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  
• 8+ years of consulting engineering experience in Central Utility Plant design
  
• PE License
  
• Experience in Steam and Hot Water Boiler Plant Systems
  
• Experience in Chiller plants of 1,000 tons or greater
  
• Experience in Revit, BIM, Trane/Trace and Microsoft Office
  
• Knowledge in building controls preferred
