RN - Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Educator - 3 Tower

FT, Day Shift, 40 hours/week

Under the direction of the Department Director and Patient Care Manager (PCM), the Clinical Nurse Coordinator/ Educator is responsible on a shift bases for the operations of a specific clinical unit such that it complies with hospital and nursing philosophy, policies, and procedures. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator assists the Department Director and PCM in ensuring the delivery of safe patient care through the nursing process by assisting with patient care issues, providing education, and serving as clinical resource to staff during assigned shift. The individual demonstrates personal and professional responsibility, participates in creating an atmosphere of teamwork and coordinaton, and assumes the responsibility for own professional development. max:rec

Requirements

Unrestricted AL or Multi State RN license, ACLS, BLS.

Must have RN experience in Cardiac Step Down, Telemetry and/or Progressive Care; 3 years of recent bedside RN experience required

Above average computer skills including Excel, and experience in data collection and reporting.

Excellent communication skills are a priority.

Willingness to participate in patient care and role of Charge Nurse, when needed.
