I-Term Teacher

Le Jardin Academy is looking for I-Term Teachers. I-Term Teachers are responsible for understanding and delivering the pedagogical and programmatic goals and outcomes of I-Term through the planning, facilitation and execution of one I-Term course.

I-Term Teacher positions:

• New Zealand

• Big Island Backpacking

• Yokohama

• Alaska

• Australia

Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Wilderness First Aid Certification required if traveling off island. Related outdoor leadership experience preferred. Related outdoor leadership subject area knowledge preferred. Related language skill preferred. Must be comfortable working in a group and collaborating with co-leads and students. Must be able to maintain point of influence in a group setting. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and in person with families, students, and fellow leaders. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. No phone calls, please. Stipend range: Varies depending on length of course.
