Job Title : Construction Superintendent

Location : Mobile, AL

Job Summary :

Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent with 5+ years of experience working for a General Contractor to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating site activities, maintaining schedules and quality standards, and ensuring a safe, productive job site from start to finish.

Responsibilities :

Oversee daily field operations and jobsite execution

Coordinate with subcontractors to address schedule impacts, develop recovery plans, and remove obstacles to progress

Monitor project progress and assist with schedule recovery when needed

Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications to plan procedures and ensure proper execution

Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and daily reports

Actively manage jobsite safety through inspections, training, and site walks

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience

5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor

Proven experience on commercial construction projects

Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

OSHA certification or strong working knowledge of jobsite safety requirements
