Shop Hand

OBJECTIVE

The Shop Hand will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and refurbishing equipment, and general shop duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean, service, and refurbish tools
• Maintains, troubleshoots, tests and assembles and disassembles tools relative to services provided by location
• Work to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices
• Operate forklift and/or overhead crane to load and unload jobs
• General housekeeping of the facility
• May be required to be available on a 24 hour/on-call basis to respond to customer needs
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
• Work in a safe manner to ensure all Nine Energy safety policies and practices are followed

EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1+ years’ industry related experience and demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Must have good written and oral communications
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format
