About the Role
This is your opportunity to join an innovative AR / defense tech startup as a Hardware Test Engineer. You'll design, implement, and execute plans to test computer hardware and optical systems, ensuring products meet stringent specifications. If you thrive on hands-on testing, solving complex hardware problems, and collaborating with engineers across disciplines, this is the role for you.
What You Will Do
- Test & Validate Hardware - Develop and execute test plans for hardware and optical systems, debugging issues and ensuring functionality.
- End-to-End Ownership - Own test setups, equipment, and processes, providing actionable results to engineering teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with design engineers, vendors, and partners to maintain high-quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement - Design new test fixtures and tools, implement hardware validations, and improve existing processes.
- Technical Support - Assist technicians and engineering teams in troubleshooting and testing.
- Travel - Up to 10% for supplier or lab visits.
