TRUCK DRIVER, CDL

Summary: CDL Truck Driver will transport materials between our facilities and make occasional deliveries to customers. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining the safety and integrity of the cargo.

Qualification Requirements:

• Valid CDL (Class A or B, depending on vehicle requirements) with manual transmission certification.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screenings
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with local roads and routes preferred.

Minimum Qualifications (Must have/non-negotiable):

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Forklift experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• N/A

Essential Functions:

• Drive manual transmission.
• Safely operate a commercial truck to transport materials between two company locations.
• Perform occasional deliveries to customer sites as assigned.
• Load and unload materials efficiently, ensuring items are secure and undamaged.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist warehouse personnel with material handling as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. Standing long periods of the day.

Work Environment:

• This position may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, working in a noisy or dirty environment, and working with hazardous materials.
