As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with students, staff, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist staff, students, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency services when necessary.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with customer service is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
