Mid-Level Assembler Language Programmer

Description & Requirements

Maximus is looking for a skilled Assembler Language Computer (ALC) Programmer to join our dynamic team supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Master File project. In this role, you will be pivotal in program analysis, design, development, maintaining, and upgrading source code, along with testing and debugging as necessary.

This is a fully remote, direct hire, full-time position.

Applicants must possess an active IRS Moderate-Risk Background Investigation (MBI) and comply with federal tax filing requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Offer design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team.
• Design and develop software applications based on business requirements in collaboration with team members.
• Support testing efforts and assist in remediating defects.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to fellow team members as needed.

Minimum Salary : $110,000.00

Maximum Salary : $150,000.00
