Job Description

Summary

Work in collaboration with the Plant Manager in Gardena to maintain Caledonian Alloys' compliance with all Federal and State Environmental and Safety regulations. The position is responsible for :

• Completing safety and environmental inspections.
• Maintaining various EHS records.
• Complete weekly inspections / audits.
• Assist the Plant Manager in Gardena with tracking corrective actions and investigation statuses.

Physical Demands - Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position with repetitive hand motions. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office area to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer, copy machine, calculator and computer printer. May be required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to don appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to, metatarsal shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hard hats, hearing protection and flame retardant clothing.

Works primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.16 to $20.16 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
