Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education Teacher position in Lakeside, MT offers an engaging role within a K-12 school environment. The contract runs from immediately through June 12th, providing a consistent schedule from Tuesday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 15 PM, totaling approximately 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities include :

  • Collaborate closely with another Special Education Teacher to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 12 students, either in the K-4th or 5th-8th grade range
  • Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in pliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and municate effectively with parents and school staff

Qualifications and experience sought :

  • Valid certification in Special Education teaching
  • Experience working with K-12 students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong munication and collaboration skills to work effectively alongside colleagues and families
  • Ability to manage time and classroom responsibilities efficiently in a structured school setting
