A full-time Geriatric Physician is needed in Hampden County, MA, to serve as an outpatient primary care provider and skilled facility physician. The position involves working Monday through Friday with a variable patient load, and requires board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, along with preferred Geriatric Medicine certification. Candidates must have at least one year of experience with the elderly population and satisfy various licensing and certification requirements.

Our client in Hampden County, MA is in need of a Full-time Geriatric Physician for an assignment!

Job details :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Position serves as Outpatient PCP and skilled facility
  • Schedule for this full-time opportunity is Monday Friday, 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm.
  • On average, there are seven (7) on-call days (evenings / weekends) with weekend telephone triage.
  • Number of patients that the provider will be seeing in a day varies from 2-8 per day
  • EMR : TruChart

Job Requirements :

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - REQUIRED
  • Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine - PREFERRED
  • MA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • CDS Certification & DEA Verbal Confirmation Registration (prior to start) - REQUIRED
  • Minimum 1 year working with the frail or elderly population - REQUIRED
  • BLS (prior to start) - REQUIRED
  • Clean / Clear malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • EMR TruChart experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED
