Description
We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a BCBA to collaborate and help expand an ABA program at our Adult Learning Center in Downers Grove, IL, designed specifically for adults with developmental disabilities. Recognizing the need for quality learning and therapy for the underserved adult community, our center aims to teach meaningful skills in a relevant context. We seek a passionate BCBA who is dedicated to providing impactful therapy and designing a robust adult therapy program. This role involves growing the clinic through community outreach, formulating and implementing treatment plans, conducting caregiver training, collaborating with team members, monitoring client progress, and providing appropriate clinical supervision.

Clinical Responsibilities
Collaborate with, supervise, and mentor team of behavior techniciansLead and supervise caregiver guidance in clinic, community, and home settingsConduct intake assessments and develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans for assigned patientsExercise judgment on best assessment tools to utilize in treatment planning for patients and develop well rounded treatment programsAssist with creation of training processes and materialsAssist in hiring, training and supervising of staffConduct functional assessments and create behavior plans that are generalizable to everyday environmentsMaintain accurate, complete and organized patient notes, data, and reportsMaintain positive working relationships with patients and caregiversAttend required trainings and meetings with advanced noticeComplete necessary documentation (i.e., supervision summaries, program updates, overlaps) following direct services hoursConfer with members of ABA therapy staff and other treatment team members to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programProvide supervision to BCBA candidates as outlined in the BCBA Supervision ContractMaintain utilization requirements across clients to ensure high quality treatment is receivedAdministrative and Development Responsibilities :
Prepare and conduct Staff Performance Reviews with admin team for direct report staffParticipate in weekly scheduling meetingsParticipate in clinical meetings with other BCBAsTimely submission of required documentationBenefits :

Minimum education and experience as required by the BACB to board certification at the master’s levelObtain, possess, and maintain current CPR / First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 yearsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong administrative skillsProficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and google suitePhysical ability to play with clients in the gym, including jumping on the trampoline, pushing clients in swings, bending down, squattingAbility to lift 50 poundsMust conduct themselves in a professional manner, and hold themselves to rigorous standards-we promote a positive, and collaborative environment on the floor and in meetingsMust have reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and auto insurance to be able to drive between clinic, clients’ homes and community settings if requiredMust pass a thorough background checkAbility to muli-task and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
