Senior Data Analyst with AI

About the job: You will be responsible for analyzing data that we feed into our machine learning models and analyzing data from production to gather critical and intuitive insights to improve our models and algorithms. You will also be visualizing these insights and help communicate results to the business effectively. Analysts at 7-Eleven have solid technical background but enjoy learning new languages, technologies, and frameworks. Data Analysts at 7-Eleven use Databricks as their primary tool to derive valuable insights and provide them back to the business. The position is located at the 7-Eleven office in Irving, TX (part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Key Responsibilities: Research, prototype, and build analysis and visualizations for our Machine Learning pipeline. Stay up to date with emerging technology and learn new technologies/libraries/frameworks Learn and partner with peers across multiple disciplines, such as computer vision, machine learning, and systems design Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation and engineering Basic Qualifications: Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and advanced mathematics. 10+ years of data analyst/engineering/science within the Databricks ecosystem (Azure preferred 5+ years of experience demonstrating the use of statistical techniques to analyze, segment and visualize data – specifically around experimental design, KPI calculation, and A/B testing. 4+ years of experience in manipulating big data using Python, PySpark, or SQL. Expert Experience with data visualization tools in Python, PowerBI, etc. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Math, or relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Math, or relevant experience Experience working with Machine Learning models – evaluation, observability, and performance monitoring. Experience working closely with a business team to determine primary KPIs on an ambiguous problem. We are an equal opportunity employer.
