The Independent Senior IT Consultant will spearhead the following :
Governance and AccountabilityAlign IT practices with internal policies, governance, and regulatory expectations.
Provide objective, third-party validation for senior managers, executives, and board members.Mitigate conflicts of interest through fact-based assessments.Legal and Regulatory Risk ReductionIdentify gaps in compliance with laws and regulations.
Prevent fines, sanctions, litigation, and federal enforcement action.Ensure IT controls support legal obligations.Policy EffectivenessEvaluate IT policies for legal soundness and current compliance.
Highlight inconsistencies between written policies and actual IT practices.Decision Making for LeadershipProvide clear, unbiased insight to support strategic decisions.
Translate technical findings into legal and policy implications.Cost Savings and EfficiencyPrevent costly remediation after incidents.
Identify redundant or non-compliant systems.Align IT investments with legal and policy priorities.Actionable RoadmapDeliver prioritized recommendations spanning technical controls, policy updates, and legal compliance.
Required Skills / Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree.10+ years working for large consulting companies.10+ years delivering consulting or advisory services.Experience working with the Department of Labor.Skill Set
