A company is looking for an Authorization Associate 1, Remote, Patient Access Business Office.
Key Responsibilities
Request, follow-up, obtain, and validate authorizations / referrals / notifications with appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes
Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely processing while addressing patient questions or concerns
Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements, financial assistance options, and overall Revenue Cycle operations
Required Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
A minimum of 1 year experience in validating / obtaining authorizations with insurance payers
Completion and passing of the Patient Access training course
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and perform basic mathematical calculations
Bilingual in English and Spanish / Creole preferred
