Remote Full Stack Developer

Job Description

A leading Biometrics and Augmented Identity company is seeking a Remote Full Stack Developer to support a current project in the federal space. This role will focus on a federal product, specifically contributing to a web-based enrollment application designed for identity proofing.

In this role, you'll begin each day collaborating with the product owner to review tickets and align on priorities. You'll participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and agile reviews, while also syncing regularly with project managers and tech leads to ensure clarity on scope and direction. Your core responsibilities will include integrating hardware into software systems—some of which will involve new development from scratch—within an AWS environment. You'll work with AWS functions, particularly around S3 and pipeline orchestration, and contribute to backend development using TypeScript. Once development is complete, you'll ensure QA approval before deployment. You'll be part of a backend engineering team of 5–6 developers, working together to deliver a streamlined, secure, and scalable solution.

Required Skills & Experience

2–3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer

Strong backend development skills using TypeScript

Proficient in React for building dynamic user interfaces

Hands-on experience with AWS technologies

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
