[job_card.job_description]Provide direct patient care and associated clinical duties Participate in civil commitment proceedings Assess and provide DSM diagnosis Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications Provide counseling and disease process education Supervise and mentor mental health staff Evaluate and recommend methods for improving operational efficiency Accept on-call status Provide individual, group, and family counseling Assist in developing treatment and therapeutic programs Prepare progress reports and discharge plans Serve as mental health staff liaison Maintain confidentiality of inmates / residents and their files Coordinate professional services provided by contract personnel Attend scheduled staff meetings and group activities Utilize established policies and procedures Call : Yes Five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable position Graduate from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in psychology or a related clinical area A valid driver's license Appropriate certification or license, or meet educational requirements for licensing in the state of employment

- Start Date : ASAP
- End Date : 13-week initial duration
- Schedule : 20 hours / week, typically 2 days of 10 hours each, flexible
