As a result, a full-time position is available for a highly motivated individual to join our Building Engineering group as a Senior Electrical Engineer. This opportunity is available at either our Denver, CO or Madison, WI, Sacramento, CA office locations.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing
• Low and medium voltage power systems
• Lighting systems and associated controls
• Fire alarm and mass notification systems
• Preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems
• Developing probable construction costs
• Providing construction administration and site visits
• Mentoring less experienced staff

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have all the following:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least 8 years of relevant electrical experience
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

• Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systems
• Preparing construction document drawings using Revit
• Designing electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred)
• Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred)
• Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications
• Providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems
• Mentoring less experienced engineers and designers
• Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors

Salary Range: $129,000 to $150,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
