Shift: Day Shift 5x8s (7:00 AM 3:00 PM Monday Friday)
Weekend/On-Call: Mandatory

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with scrub and circulate experience (HARD STOP) to join a fast-paced surgical team. The ideal candidate will have strong circulating skills and extensive experience across multiple surgical specialties while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and infection control.

Required Experience & Skills (HARD STOPS)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience (within the past 24 months)
• Scrub and circulate experience REQUIRED
• Must be able to Circulate independently
• Strong experience in:
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Spine
  • Thoracic
  • Urology
• Proven experience with:
  • Infection Control protocols
  • Blood products and cell saver
  • Specimen labeling and handling
  • Wound management
  • Universal Protocol (Time Out)
  • Radiation laser and fire safety
• EPIC EMR experience REQUIRED

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Florida RN license or Compact license (required)
• BLS & ACLS (AHA or ARC only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required)

Education Requirements

• Degree from an accredited nursing program OR
• Degree from an institution approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON)
• Must also have 2 consecutive years of recent acute care experience within the past 24 months in a U.S. hospital (per facility requirements)
