$17.50 / hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to set up, maintain, and operate production machinery. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and able to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. This role is essential to maintaining quality standards, maximizing efficiency, and supporting overall production goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Set up machines for production cycles, including calibration and cleaning

Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed rate

Load raw materials or parts into manual and automated machines

Monitor machine operations and test functionality periodically

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools

Identify and troubleshoot machine issues during shifts

Check output for defects, flaws, or machine-related errors

Maintain accurate records of approved and defective products

Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times

Skills & Requirements

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role

Strong understanding of production processes and procedures

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals

Knowledge of and adherence to health and safety regulations

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively

Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Technical degree or vocational training is a plus
