Job Summary

The Gift Processing Student Assistant position entails working in the University Advancement Office at Cal State Fullerton. The department focuses on fundraising efforts for donor relations. We are looking for one student assistant who is detail-oriented and willing to work 20 hours per week. We are looking to start hiring and training as soon as possible and have employment continue through the academic school years. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills related to working in an office environment and learning behind-the-scenes work that supports Cal State Fullerton Philanthropic Fundraising. A good Gift Processing student assistant is proactive organized a good communicator helpful and resourceful.

• Assists in processing and printing philanthropic receipts.
• Provide clerical assistance with additional tasks such as scanning filing mail merging sorting etc.
• Monitor incoming emails move them into appropriate folders and tag them accordingly to assist the Gift Processing team.
• Upload documents onto the server to backup donor records.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty staff and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Required Qualifications

Background Check
