Automotive Technology Adjunct Faculty

A company is looking for an Automotive Technology Adjunct Faculty.

Key Responsibilities

Instruct online undergraduate candidates in automobile systems repair and maintenance

Prepare candidates for ASE Entry Level Exams and support their transition to full-time apprenticeships

Conduct weekly meetings and provide academic instruction

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Current or former ASE Mechanic, or 3000 hours of real-world experience as an automotive technician

Prior work experience in the field of auto mechanics is required; experience as an instructor is preferred

Ability to use online meeting software and navigate online course management systems

Availability for office hours at night to accommodate adult learners

Strong knowledge of career expectations in independent repair facilities or dealerships
