Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Opportunities Georgia War Veterans Home, Augusta, GA

Georgia War Veterans Home is currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for its long-term care (LTC) facility in Augusta, GA. Openings are available across all three shifts :

1st Shift : 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM

2nd Shift : 3 : 00 PM 11 : 30 PM

3rd Shift : 11 : 00 PM 7 : 30 AM

All shifts are Monday through Friday and include every other weekend. Please note : 12- and 16-hour shifts are not available at this time.

Application Requirements :

To be considered, applicants must submit :

• Resume highlighting relevant experience (minimum 1 year in a long-term care setting)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current CNA license that is active and verifiable on the Georgia MMIS portal (Out-of-state certifications are not accepted in lieu of Georgia licensure.)

Position Description :

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN / LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA / NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
