As an intern, your time will be divided between a core program shared with the entire cohort and specialized work, projects, and programming tailored to the department you join.

The IMA Surety team is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for an intern in our 2026 summer program! This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience at our Wichita office, under a normal five-day in-office schedule.

Daily responsibilities will include :

• Observe and execute the procedures directly involved in the daily operation of the Surety Division as well as providing support to the Division Manager and Producer's (Sales). General job duties include but are not limited to :
• Type legal forms
• Invoice all surety bond transactions
• Report surety bond documents to surety companies
• Work with Surety Account Managers to set up and maintain client files, bond files, and surety company files
• Assist Surety Department Manager and Surety Account Executives with various projects
• Analyze clients' financial statements under the direction of Account Executives.

Compensation :

This position is classified as nonexempt and is paid on an hourly basis. The hourly pay range for IMA interns is 18.00 to 22.00 dollars and is determined by your expected graduating year. You will be paid for all hours worked and will be eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state wage and hour laws.
