Intake Coordinator

Location: Outpatient Treatment Program in Millbury, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Pay rate: $20.70-$23.97/hour

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for:

• Responding to and handling all incoming calls to the Intake Department in both a timely and professional manner.
• Ensuring proper procedures are adhered to so that all intake appointments are appropriately booked and authorized while providing initial insurance verification prior to the client visit.
• Filling out client intake forms and assigning clients to the appropriate program.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of third party insurance benefits, eligibility, and billing procedures preferred.
• Must be able to calculate figures to provide treatment costs; calculator permitted.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to handle complex and confidential information required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel, both within and outside company required
