We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to design develop and maintain high-quality data models that support business intelligence analytics and operational systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders data engineers and architects to translate business requirements into logical and physical data models.

Key Responsibilities

Design conceptual logical and physical data models for enterprise data platforms

Analyze business requirements and convert them into structured data solutions

Ensure data models support scalability performance and data integrity

Collaborate with data engineers architects and BI teams

Define data standards naming conventions and best practices

Perform data profiling and gap analysis

Maintain documentation for data models and metadata

Support ETL / ELT processes and data warehousing initiatives

Review and optimize existing data models for efficiency

Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Data Science or related field

Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (ER diagrams normalization dimensional modeling)

Hands-on experience with data modeling tools (ERwin ER / Studio PowerDesigner Lucidchart etc.)

Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server)

Experience with data warehouses and data lakes

Knowledge of star and snowflake schemas

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus

Preferred Skills

Experience with Big Data technologies (Hive Spark)

Understanding of master data management (MDM)

Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks

Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments
