You will rotate through areas such as revenue, payroll, fixed assets, leases, treasury, and consolidations, working closely with experienced directors and managers. General Statement Of Duties

Responsible for assisting the Accounting department with the month-end close process including preparation of monthly journal entries and reconciliations. Assists with various special projects as needed.

Essential Functions

• Execute month-end close activities across various accounting functions.
• Support projects, process optimizations, and system enhancements.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align accounting processes and improve accuracy.
• Identify and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and controls with corresponding solutions.
• Adapt to evolving priorities while contributing positive energy to a collaborative team environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

Experience

• 2+ years of public accounting experience and/or 2+ years in industry
• Strong accounting foundation
• Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment and adapt to an evolving workplace.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of finance/accounting systems and designing processes and procedures
• Accounting workpaper design and documentation

• Analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Communication and time management skills
• Intermediate Excel skills
