In anticipation of a contract award we are looking for a SeniorAcquisition Specialist to join our team.

Hiring Timeframe : Upcoming

Work Location : This position will be performedon site in Camp Springs MD. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1500 annually to your Transportation FSA.

What Youll Do :

  • Carry out pre-determined and recurring cradle to grave contract specialistduties.
  • Conduct acquisition planning solicitation preparation market research / analysis source selection and administration of terms and conditions cost / price analysis negotiation preparation of contract award and government in the evaluation of contractor performance contract terminations and contract closeouts.
  • Support process improvements and change management efforts related to FAR and agency policy changes.

Must Haves :

  • Bachelors degree and at least 24 hours in business-related courses in any of the following fields : accounting business finance law contracts purchasing economics industrial management marketing quantitative methods or organization and management.
  • 10 years of relevantcontract specialist experience.
  • Expert knowledge in pre-award contract support and post-award contract management.
  • Knowledge and exposure to cost reimbursement / cost sharing contracts and review of claims and equitable adjustments.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage coordinate and pursue multiple complex projects and activities.
  • Extensive knowledge of the FAR and / or associated FAR supplements.
  • Contracting experience with FAR 8.and 16
  • Acquisition planning market research and drafting technical requirements.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
  • Documented experience leading a team of contract specialists.
  • Documented experience implementing process improvements.
  • Documented experience supporting O6 / GO-level leadership environments.
