A Child & Adolescent Therapist is needed in Flint MI.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual group family play and activity therapy sessions
  • Monday - Friday (8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM) schedule
  • Provide services primarily in patients homes or community settings (approximately 75% of visits)
  • Perform bio-psychosocial evaluations for children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement person / family-centered treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services as needed
  • Collaborate with families schools medical providers and community agencies
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in the EMR system
  • Attend clinical team meetings staff meetings and training sessions
  • Ensure compliance with state federal and organizational regulations
  • May assist with community residential or institutional placements
  • Maintain an average of at least 15 client visits per week

    • Requirements

  • Compassionate client-focused approach
  • LLMSW LMSW LLPC LPC TLLP or LLP license in the state of Michigan
  • Valid Michigan drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Must meet DCH qualifications as a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP)
  • Comfortable working with a population aged birth to 18 primarily with Serious Emotional Disturbances (SED); some dual diagnoses with developmental disabilities
