Registered Nurse - Surgical Oncology - Days

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Surgical Oncology
• Hourly Pay Range: $34.68 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors
• Location: Edward and Elmhurst Cancer Center
• Full Time | 40 hours/week
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm with no weekends or holidays

What you will do:

• The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

What you will need:

• Education: Bachelor's in Nursing
• Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required
• Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON), Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) - Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB), preferred
• Experience: 1 year of experience in ICU, ER, radiology, or wound/ostomy, preferred
